                                                                                                   CALL FOR PAPERS                                                                                             Forum for Linguistic StudiesScope & Aim:Forum for Linguistic Studies has been aimed at publishing the latest original research results in the form of research articles, review articles and book reviews in general and applied linguistics, specifically in the fields of cognitive-functional linguistic studies, philosophy of language, conversational analysis, language acquisition, and any other topics on language and linguistics. Papers based on the findings of corpus or experiment-oriented researches on natural language phenomena are particularly welcomed. Manuscripts should include such items as Title, List of authors (Corresponding author), Affiliations, Email addresses, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Main body, Conclusion, Acknowledgments and References. A research or review article should normally be between 6,000 and 10,000 words when first submitted, while a book review should be between 1500 and 3000 words. The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; Times New Roman; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.(2) British or American English spelling may be used provided it is used consistently throughout the paper.(3) The reference style adopted for this issue should be as follows:For journal articles:Petitti DB, Crooks VC, Buckwalter JG, et al.
